Novak Djokovic US Open 2021

WATCH: Novak Djokovic displays awesome athleticism during Paris preparations

Novak Djokovic will return to play at the upcoming Paris Masters, and he certainly hasn’t lost any of his poise while away from the game.

The world number is currently training at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in Nice, France ahead of the final Masters 1000 event of the season.

Not only that, but Djokovic is doing so with none other than US Open champion and world number two Daniil Medvedev across the net.

The pair were pictured with French footballing legend and 1998 World Cup winner Didier Deschamps at the facility.

Djokovic and Medvedev are the 2019 and 2020 Paris Masters champions respectively. The Serb has actually won the tournament a record five times, his first title coming all the way back in 2009.

No doubt the 36-time Masters champion will bring his unmistakeable fight and athletic brilliance to the court once more, as evidenced by this display shared by the man on Twitter.

Djokovic and Medvedev are currently battling for the world number one spot, with the Serb holding off the Russian for now.

The world number one currently sits on 11,430 ranking points, while Medvedev trails by 1,800 points on 9,630.

As the top two seeds, the two men can only meet in Paris if both reach the final.
