Felix Auger-Aliassime’s end to the 2025 season was nothing short of spectacular.
The 25-year-old Canadian, one of the most naturally talented players on the ATP Tour, rose to world number six in 2021 and looked to be a mainstay in the top 10 for the foreseeable future.
However, he slipped down the rankings, yet again becoming one of the chasing pack on the Tour.
This year, Auger-Aliassime has revitalised his career, rising back up the rankings to world number five.

The Canadian’s run to the US Open semi-finals kick-started his end-of-year charge, and impressive results in Brussels and Paris helped his cause.
Among the top 10 ATP stars, he has clearly improved most across the 2025 season.

Felix Auger-Aliassime’s stellar year can be highlighted when noting his ATP ranking at the end of 2024.
The 25-year-old has won three events this year – in Adelaide, Montpellier and Brussels – and reached the final of the Paris Masters and Dubai Tennis Championships.
Most recently, he reached the semi-finals of the ATP Finals, before losing to Carlos Alcaraz.
Who will win the 2026 men’s Australian Open?
As a result, Auger-Aliassime has increased his ranking by 24 spots this year – more than any other player in the ATP top 10.
His closest challenger is Ben Shelton, who has risen 12 places throughout the course of 2025, to world number nine.
If Auger-Aliassime can continue to perform at this high level, he will challenge for Grand Slam titles for the foreseeable future.
In fact, he could be the man to end Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner’s Grand Slam dominance. Alcaraz and Sinner have won all eight Grand Slams combined over the past two years.
