WATCH: Rafael Nadal arrives in Paris for ramp up to Bercy Masters
Rafael Nadal has touched down in Paris and is getting practice in before the Masters event in Bercy.ย
The 22-time Slam champion returns to the tour at the tournament beginning 31st October for his first ranking match since exiting the US Open in the fourth round in September. He has spent time away from competition to be with family and support his wife Xisca through the birth of their first child.
According to coach Carlos Moya, Nadal will also play the ATP Finals in Turin. It will be his 11th time competing in the event and his first time since the event moved to Turin after missing last year’s tournament through injury.
Nadal has never won the Paris Masters before, but has reached the final once in 2007. He lost to David Nalbandian then.
