‘Questions still need answering’ demands Andy Murray on Novak Djokovic saga
While Andy Murray is happy that Novak Djokovic is no longer being detained, he has asserted that the world number one still has questions he has left unanswered.
Djokovic has been training at Rod Laver Arena following the reversal of his visa cancellation in court.
Now, five-time Australian Open finalist Murray has spoken about the nine-time champion’s current situation.
“It’s positive that he’s not in detention anymore,” Murray said.
“Obviously he won in court, so, you know, that’s a positive thing for him. Hopefully will be able to concentrate on the tennis now.
“I think there are still a few questions that need to be answered around the isolation and stuff, which I’m sure we’ll hear from him in the next few days.”

With regards to questions surrounding his entry to Australia, Djokovic has said that he returned a positive PCR test on 16th December.
That result was then grounds for his exemption to play the Australian Open unvaccinated.
However, Djokovic then made a public appearance on 17th December, coming into contact with children while maskless and positive for Covid.
He also attended a photo shoot for L’Equipe on 18th December, the magazine confirmed.
Moreover, reports suggest that the 20-time Slam winner declared on his immigration form that he had not travelled for the 14 days prior to his trip to Australia.
Evidence of Djokovic being in Serbia on Christmas Day before going to Marbella to train and then on to his flight to Australia suggests otherwise.
