Joao Fonseca captured the biggest title of his career on Sunday after winning the Swiss Indoors final.
The Brazilian has now won two ATP Tour titles following his victory at the Buenos Aires Open in February.
In Basel, Fonseca defeated Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, Denis Shapovalov and Jaume Munar on his way to the final.
On Sunday, the 19-year-old navigated his way over the final hurdle, defeating Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-3, 6-4.

The 19-year-old has since taken to social media to offer his reaction.
Joao Fonseca dedicates Swiss Indoors triumph to his parents
On Instagram, the young Brazilian reflected on his historic Basel campaign and dedicated his success to two important family members.
Fonseca said: “Let’s go! I’m so happy with the whole team’s mentality during this special week, in a tournament I’ve always dreamed of being in.
“Thank you all for cheering me on; that energy makes all the difference on the court. Let’s go for more, this is Brazil.
“Mum and Dad, this is for you. Thank you for always believing in me and for being by my side every step of the way.
“Last but not least, a special thanks to everyone at Swiss Indoors. You guys made this week even more special.”
The 19-year-old’s triumph was particularly significant when considering he is now the second-youngest winner of the Swiss Indoors title, behind only four-time Grand Slam champion Jim Courier.
The Brazilian has also joined Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic on an exclusive list, and looks set to be one of tennis’ next big stars, alongside Learner Tien and Jakub Mensik.
Fonseca will now look ahead to the Paris Masters, where he faces Canadian star Denis Shapovalov in the first round.
The Brazilian will take great confidence heading into this matchup. After all, Fonseca triumphed when the two met at the Swiss Indoors Open this past week.
What did Fonseca say after winning the Buenos Aires Open?
In February, Fonseca won his first ATP Tour title after defeating fellow South American Francisco Cerundolo in the Buenos Aires Open final.
The Brazilian defeated four Argentine players on his way to the title, including Tomas Etcheverry, Mariano Navone and Cerundolo.
After clinching the title, Fonseca told the ATP Tour: “Unbelievable week, even in Argentina there are some Brazilians cheering for me.
“That’s just amazing. Every Brazilian, everyone from their country wants this support from your own country. For me, this [moment] that I’m living is just unbelievable.

“I want to thank my family, my friends and my sponsors for just helping me achieve my dream, which is to play tennis.
“Of course I want to be number one, of course I want to win Slams, titles, but my dream is just to play tennis, and I’m living it.”
