Jessica Pegula will be hoping to cap off her 2025 WTA Tour campaign by winning the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Pegula, who is one of four Americans set to travel to the Middle East, reached the final in 2023 before being demolished 6-1, 6-0 by Iga Swiatek.

Pegula and Swiatek have again qualified for the event in 2025, alongside Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova, Jasmine Paolini and Elena Rybakina.
The 31-year-old has recorded an impressive year on the WTA Tour, winning three titles and reaching five finals in total.
The American has qualified for the WTA Finals for four consecutive years, and in doing so, has achieved something impressive.
Jessica Pegula is the oldest player to qualify for four consecutive WTA Finals since Nathalie Tauziat in 2001
As per OptaAce, Jessica Pegula [aged 31] is the oldest player to qualify for the WTA Finals for four or more consecutive years since French star Nathalie Tauziat.
Tauziat qualified for the tournament five consecutive times between 1997 and 2001. Tauziat was aged 30 when she qualified for the tournament in 1997, and aged 34 when she qualified in 2001.
Pegula is also the oldest American to achieve the feat since Martina Navratilova, who qualified for the WTA Finals on four consecutive occasions between 1991 and 1994.
During the 1991 Finals, Navratilova was aged 35. At the same event four years later, the Czech-American star was aged 39.
At the 2024 WTA Finals, Pegula lost to Coco Gauff and Barbora Krejcikova before withdrawing from the tournament due to a left knee injury.
Pegula is currently ranked fifth in the world, 704 points behind US Open finalist Amanda Anisimova.
Pegula is in good form heading into the 2025 WTA Finals
Despite not winning a title since the Bad Homburg Open in June, Jessica Pegula should take great confidence heading into the WTA Finals.
Her recent form has been impressive – semi-final appearances at the US Open and China Open and an appearance in the Wuhan Open final.

After a disappointing 2024 WTA Finals campaign, the 31-year-old will want to prove herself once again on one of the biggest stages.
The winner of the WTA Finals can collect up to 1,500 ranking points, meaning Pegula could jump to world number three if she wins the tournament.
