America’s current female contingent of elite tennis players is among the strongest witnessed in history.

The nation boasts four players in the WTA top-10, and 10 players in the top 50. In fact, there are 17 American players in the WTA top 100 as things stand.

America’s women are simply dominating the WTA Tour, as demonstrated by the fact that an American player reached the final of every Grand Slam in 2025.

It seems their dominance will continue, as young stars like Coco Gauff and Amanda Anisimova will no doubt improve and remain common features in the latter stages of Grand Slams for the foreseeable future.

These American stars have achieved another impressive feat, and deserve kudos for their domination.

Four American women are leading the WTA Tour in three-set victories during 2025

Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova, Jessica Pegula and Madison Keys are leading the way for American women on the WTA Tour.

The four giants of the sport are all ranked within the WTA top 10 and have demonstrated their capabilities in high-pressure moments throughout the 2025 season.

As per OptaAce, Madison Keys has won the most three-set matches on the WTA Tour in 2025, winning 15.

Jessica Pegula and Amanda Anisimova are next on the list, both having won 13 matches in 2025 that have gone to a deciding set.

Coco Gauff is fourth, having won 12 three-set matches across the same span.

Pegula most recently to added to her tally, defeating compatriot Hailey Baptiste in three sets on Wednesday.

This is an extremely impressive statistic, one that should be praised. This data demonstrates that some of America’s elite stars have regularly performed in the biggest moments, and have shown a willingness to persevere during tough moments in matches.

The US team were unable to cement their place this year as the world’s premier nation in women’s tennis, losing the Billie Jean King Cup final to Italy.

However, when considering the depth of quality the US possesses, few would bet against the nation achieving this feat in the near future.
