Jannik Sinner has failed to drop a single set so far during his Vienna Open campaign.

The Italian has been dominant in Austria, defeating Daniel Altmaier, Flavio Cobolli and Alexander Bublik on his way to the semi-final stage.

The 24-year-old will face Alex de Minaur in the semi-final on Saturday, following his 6-4, 6-4 triumph over Bublik.

Sinner will be hoping to capture a fourth ATP Tour title of 2025, following triumphs at the Australian Open, Wimbledon and China Open.

Sinner took a step closer on Friday, and will hope to take another step against de Minaur, a player to whom he has never lost to.

Jannik Sinner ties Fabio Fognini and Adriano Panatta for the most ATP Tour-level semi-finals in Italian history

Jannik Sinner has already cemented himself as quite possibly the best player in Italian men’s tennis history, despite his young age.

At 24 years old, Sinner has already made 42 ATP Tour-level semi-finals, tying Fabio Fognini and Adriano Panatta.

For context, Fognini played on the Tour for 21 years, while Panatta competed professionally for 14 years, between 1969 and 1983.

Sinner has been competing professionally for only seven years.

The Italian will now look to reach the 31st Tour-level final of his career when he faces Alex de Minaur on Saturday.

Sinner will be confident heading into the match. After all, he has an extremely dominant record against the Australian.

After Vienna, the Italian is set to compete at the Paris Masters. However, he will not compete in another tournament – the Davis Cup Finals.

Sinner won their first contest at the 2019 Next Gen Finals, and since then, the Italian has recorded victories at the Davis Cup Finals, Canadian Open and Australian Open, to name a few.
