Jannik Sinner has finally confirmed whether he will appear at the 2025 Davis Cup after leading Italy to victory in consecutive years.
The Italian has played limited dates of late following his withdrawal from the Shanghai Masters, with just one appearance at the Six Kings Slam to his name.
Sinner will return to action at the Vienna Open, where he will play Daniel Altmaier in the first round of the ATP 500 competition
Ahead of his return to the ATP Tour, the World No. 2 has confirmed whether he will play the Davis Cup at the end of the year.

Jannik Sinner makes Davis Cup decision
Sinner has not been confirmed in the Italy team for the Davis Cup Finals in Bologna, which begins on November 18.
The Italian appeared in the squad for the last two years, which saw the nation lift the trophy, but the star will now end his season at the ATP Tour Finals.
Sinner has been replaced by Lorenzo Musetti, Flavio Cobolli, Matteo Berrettini, Simone Bolelli, and Andrea Vavassori in the squad as they look to retain their title.
Italy will compete in the Finals against Spain, Belgium, Argentina, France, Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria.
Sinner’s schedule for the rest of the year is now the Vienna Open, the Paris Masters, and the ATP Finals.
Carlos Alcaraz now has a huge chance of winning the Davis Cup for the first time
While Sinner is not set to play the Davis Cup, World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz will feature for Spain at the tournament.
Alcaraz is yet to win the Davis Cup and he’s now been gifted the perfect opportunity to help Spain lift the trophy.
Spain have a difficult quarter-final match against a Czech Republic team that features Jiri Lehecka and Jakub Mensik, but Sinner’s absence has widened the field if they get through that task.
Italy and Spain were set to meet in the final of the tournament, which ends on November 23.
