Rune is not expected back to the ATP Tour until the end of 2026 at the earliest, but that has not stopped the star from keeping his extensive social media presence.
The star has sent frequent updates to his fans, and he’s provided another after receiving slight pushback on his recovery.
Writing on X, the world number 15 said: “If you love it, you love it. Enjoying my days with the team, on and off court.
“Phase 2 is going very well. Spirit is high. Building strength in fitness and keeping my left leg alive with various exercises.”
Rune had impressive stints in 2025, which included reaching the Indian Wells final and defeating Carlos Alcaraz to win the Barcelona Open.
The star had an outside shot of qualifying for the ATP Finals before his season was cut short at the Stockholm Open.

A fan told Rune to ‘be careful’ after his latest recovery update, which drew a response from the 23-year-old.
Rune wrote on X: “Don’t worry, I am on court maybe 1-2 times per week and have a full program daily doing all kinds of rehab exercises and treatments.”
The 2022 Paris Masters champion added, “Tennis is fun for me. I am enjoying life, even on one leg. That’s what matters for me.”
