Carlos Alcaraz was unable to challenge Jannik Sinner for the Wimbledon title this year.
Sinner beat Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final last year to claim his first title at the grass court major.
The Spaniard was not at SW19 this year, with Alcaraz continuing to nurse a wrist injury which has forced him to miss both Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
With Alcaraz absent, Sinner beat Alexander Zverev to defend his Wimbledon title, but his biggest rival has still reached out to him after his latest Grand Slam title victory.

The world number one has received many messages of support since then, including Rod Laver congratulating Sinner on his victory.
