And finally a new one for many of you, making a comeback in 2025…
Mantis PS 300
Launched over 20 years ago and now in the midst of being reinvigorated by new owners, the Mantis PS series is a spin and power focussed frame that’s specifically designed (and priced) to appeal to ‘committed amateurs’. You won’t see this brand sponsoring tour players as they say they are dedicated to making high quality rackets at reasonable prices and don’t want to have to artificially increase their prices to pay for sponsorships.
The PS 300 features a hand-made carbon fibre frame with a 100 sq in head and comes in at 300 gram unstrung. What’s different about the new Mantis is that every racket they launch will have two different colourways to choose from. This hasn’t been done before so Mantis are putting themselves out by offering two versions of exactly the same frame, one more classic look and the other much brighter, both incorporating their new logo and brand colours.
Currently only available on pre-order the new frames drop on 1st June but you can reserve yours for a 5% deposit.
Available directly from MantisSport.com – Price £165 unstrung or £182.50 if you want the Mantis UK-based stringer to add some Mantis strings at your own choice of tension.
