Zvonareva on track for title

Russian world number five Zvonareva maintained her 100% career record against the fifth seed with a 6-2 6-3 win in 70 minutes, while Rybarikova recorded a convincing 6-4 6-1 win over world number 12 Wozniacki.

Zvonareva will face seventh seed Shahar Peer for a place in the final after the Israeli beat Russia’s Vera Dushevina 6-4 4-6 6-2, while world number 51 Rybarikova faces a semi-final showdown with India’s Sania Mirza.

Mirza completed the semi-final line-up by beating Thailand’s Tamarine Tanasugarn 7-5 6-4.
