Andy Murray is set to embark on his second coaching stint.
The former world number one has been absent from the professional circuit since ending his coaching partnership with Novak Djokovic last year.
However, Murray is set to make an emphatic return.
How excited are you for Andy Murray to join Jack Draper’s team?
What a signing!
On Tuesday evening, British star Jack Draper announced Murray as his coach for this year’s grass-court swing.
The news came as a surprise to many, including Andy Murray’s brother, Jamie.
Draper, the former world number four, previously spoke about the possibility of being coached by Murray.
Jack Draper’s previous comments about hiring Andy Murray as a coach
In November 2024, Novak Djokovic made the bold decision to hire his former rival, Andy Murray.
Murray, who retired from his playing career after competing in the 2024 Olympic Games, worked with Djokovic until May 2025.

Following Djokovic’s appointment of Murray in November 2024, Jack Draper was asked about the possibility of adding Murray to his own coaching team later in his career.
“Let’s see what happens down the line,” Draper said, as per Wales Online.
“Whoever Andy coaches, whether it is Novak Djokovic or someone of a lesser standard, he will give so much to what that player has, he will study them, and he will give advice.
“I have definitely asked him about my game in the past and he has always been amazing with analysing my play.

“He has got such a big tennis brain. Whatever he brings to any team will have a really positive impact.
“And I think his personality as well, the way he is, he is fun to be around.
“Yeah, we will see what happens down the line in the future.
“Right now, I am happy with my current set-up but it is really exciting to see him come back to tennis and feel like he wants to be part of it.”

Will Jack Draper improve upon his previous performances at Wimbledon?
Jack Draper certainly has the game to be successful on grass.
This was demonstrated in 2024, when he defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the second round of the Queen’s Club Championships.

However, results such as those have been few and far between on the grass-court surface.
This has been particularly evident at Wimbledon, where Draper has failed to advance past the second round in four attempts.
With Murray now in his corner, will Draper take the next step on grass?
