Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner’s dominance on the ATP Tour in 2025 has seen them achieve something that hasn’t been seen since 2015.
Sinner and Alcaraz have commanded the ATP Tour this year, splitting the Grand Slams equally between them.
The two men are far and away the World No. 1 and World No. 2, with lfew signs that anyone can compete with the Spaniard and the Italian.
Sinner and Alcaraz’s dominance on the ATP Tour has seen them achieve something that was achieved by Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner break 10-year ATP streak
Sinner’s supreme win against Daniel Altmaier at the Vienna Open saw him hit the 30th bagel of 2025 as he swept aside the German in 58 minutes.
That saw him join Alcaraz on 30+ sets won by either 6-0 or 6-1 in 2025, a feat that was last achieved in 2015.
Murray and Djokovic were the last pair to achieve the dominant feat, when they won 75 matches by 6-0 or 6-1 between them.
Sinner and Alcaraz are now sitting on 64 winning sets of 6-0 or 6-1, meaning Murray and Djokovic’s record is within touching distance.
The best two players in the world have the Vienna Open, the Paris Masters, and the ATP Finals to try and win 12 sets by that margin to beat Murray and Djokovic’s record.
Jannik Sinner broke a four and a half year streak with Vienna Open bagel
Sinner’s feat against Daniel Altmaier is even more impressive considering the length of time that the German had gone without being bagelled.
Sinner’s 6-0 set against Altmaier was the first time he’d suffered that result in over four and a half years on the tour.
Altmaier’s last 6-0 set loss came against Taro Daniel in May 2021 in the round of 32 in the Helibronn on the Challenger Tour.
The Italian continues to build up impressive stats as he plays out the final few tournaments of his 2025 season.
