Rafael Nadal Australian Open 2021

WATCH: Rafa Nadal looks in great shape as he prepares for Australian Open in Melbourne

Rafa Nadal is back from injury and ready to mount an attack on the first Grand Slam of 2022 in Australia

Rafa Nadal will be looking to cement his name as the greatest player of all time by reaching 21 Grand Slam singles titles at the 2022 Australian open, and by the look of these clips, he is ready and raring to go.

Friend of Tennishead, Craig O’Shannessy, the founder of Brain Game Tennis, was in Melbourne to watch Nadal practise on the Rod Laver Arena court and was obviously impressed by what he saw.

Nadal is equal with Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer on 20 Grand Slam singles titles, but Federer will not compete in Australia and Djokovic has yet to 100% confirm his attendance although the recent clips of him practising suggest he will be playing at the Australian Open.
