Tennis on TV Next Week: How to watch the Wuhan Open and Shanghai Masters!

There is more tennis taking place in China next week, with 1000 level events taking place at the Wuhan Open and Shanghai Masters.

And we, at Tennishead, have the ultimate guide for you to be able to watch both China Open champions Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff, as well as Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Aryna Sabalenka and many more!

How can you watch the Wuhan Open (WTA 1000)?

The Wuhan Open marks the final WTA 1000 tournament of the 2024 season, as players still in contention fight for vital ranking points in the race to the year-end Finals.

Aryna Sabalenka has already confirmed her qualification to the WTA Finals, as she returns to Wuhan as the top seed and two-time defending champion.

Despite already qualifying for the WTA Finals, Sabalenka is hoping to capitalise on World No.1 Iga Swiatek’s absence and gain big points in her bid to return to the top of the rankings.

However, the US Open champion will not have it her own way with Jessica Pegula, Jasmine Paolini, Coco Gauff, Qinwen Zheng, Emma Navarro and Barbora Krejcikova also present.

Gauff is coming off the back of winning her second WTA 1000 title in Beijing, as she hopes to continue her success in China.

Also set to be a threat to Sabalenka in Wuhan is China Open runner-up Karolina Muchova, who ended the Belarusian’s 15-match winning streak in Beijing and has won their past three meetings.

You can watch the Wuhan Open on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom or Ireland, as well as across other parts of Europe, and on Tennis Channel in the United States of America.

How can you watch the Shanghai Masters (ATP 1000)?

The Shanghai Masters got underway last week, but the ATP 1000 tournament has been heavily disrupted due to heavy rainfall.

Due to Centre Court having a roof, seeded players Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev and Tommy Paul are already in the fourth round, while several others still remain in the second round.

Record four-time Shanghai Masters champion Novak Djokovic is currently awaiting his third round opponent, with the potential of a Grand Slam final rematch with Stan Wawrinka.

Djokovic is not only bidding for a historic fifth triumph in Shanghai, but also to become only the third man in history to win 100 career titles.

It is set to be another rainy day in Shanghai tomorrow, but fortunately the weather is set to improve throughout the rest of the week as they aim to get the tournament back on track.

You can watch the Shanghai Masters on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Tennis Channel in the United States of America and on Tennis TV worldwide.
