Tennis on TV Next Week: How to watch the WTA Finals, ATP Metz and more!

The 2024 season may be coming towards its end, but the stakes are just getting higher, with the WTA Finals taking place alongside two tournaments that have big ATP Finals ramifications on them.

And we, at Tennishead, have the ultimate guide for you to watch all of the upcoming action:

How can you watch the WTA Finals?

The year-end tournament got underway yesterday, with Aryna Sabalenka, Jasmine Paolini, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff kicking off the singles event in Riyadh in winning fashion.

However, as with any round-robin competition things can change very quickly, and we still have some very intriguing matchups to keep our eyes out for.

Tomorrow sees Elena Rybakina taking on Qinwen Zheng, as they both search for their first win in the Saudi capital, while Aryna Sabalenka and Jasmine Paolini battle it out to move closer to advancing to the semi-finals.

There is also the added element for Sabalenka of ending the year as World No.1, with the Australian Open and US Open currently in poll position to do that for the first time in her career.

Doubles is also showcased in Riyadh, with Nicole Melichar-Martinez/Ellen Perez, Katerina Siniakova/Taylor Townsend, Erin Routliffe/Gabriela Dabrowski, Jasmine Paolini/Sara Errani all winning in the opening set of round-robin matches.

You can watch the WTA Finals on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Tennis Channel in the United States of America or on beIN Sports in Australia.

How can you watch ATP Metz?

While two ATP 250 tournaments towards the end of the season may not sound particularly important, this year they have stronger lineups than ever before with three qualification spots still on offer for the ATP Finals.

Metz has two of those contenders in Andrey Rublev and Casper Ruud, who are both looking to refind form to salvage one of those remaining spots on offer.

However, to do so they may have to overcome the likes of Grigor Dimitrov, Paris Masters finalist and defending champion Ugo Humbert, Pedro Martinez, Jan-Lennard Struff and Alex Michelsen.

Dimitrov (late entry) is one of three wildcards to have been awarded at the tournament in Metz, as well as the soon to be retiring Richard Gasquet and French youngster Harold Mayot (already out after losing in the first round to the aforementioned Michelsen).

You can watch the Moselle Open on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, or on Tennis Channel in the United States of America. You can also available to watch on Tennis TV worldwide.

How can you watch ATP Belgrade?

The other ATP tournament this week sees Belgrade return to the calendar, but this time on indoor hard courts instead of clay.

Alex de Minaur is the top seed in the Serbian capital, as he fights for vital ranking points to qualify for the ATP Finals for the first time in his career.

And the Australian may have already boosted his chances of this, after second seed Tommy Paul withdrew, and sixth seed Brandon Nakashima suffered a first round defeat to Hamad Medjedovic.

That being said, De Minaur is still set to face a tough challenge in his first match in Belgrade, as he awaits the winner of the wildcard battle between three-time major champion Stan Wawrinka and home favourite Laslo Djere.

Wawrinka and Djere are two of the three wildcards to have been awarded in Belgrade, with the previously mentioned 21-year-old Serbian Medjedovic getting the other.

You can watch the Belgrade Open on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, or on Tennis Channel in the United States of America. The event is also available to watch on Tennis TV worldwide.
