“Taking it day by day” Rafa Nadal delivers ATP Finals injury update
Rafa Nadal is working hard to recover from his stomach muscle injury with the hope that’s he’ll be ready to play his first match at the ATP finals on Monday
Rafa Nadal says that he is following Doctor’s advice and has started serving again but he still can’t guarantee that he’ll be ready to play his first match at the ATP Finals against Alexander Zverev on Monday evening
Nadal tweeted an update saying to his fans and followers, “Update? Ok, I’m in London happy to be here. Taking it day by day after Paris (small abdominal tear). I need to see how things go, started serving yesterday very slowly. Right now the main goal is to be ready on Monday following the protocols that the doctor gave me”

Rafa Nadal has just returned to the world No.1 position. He’s never won the year end ATP Finals so will be hoping to break his duck in London and also secure the year end world No.1 slot for 2019.
