She will face Stefanie Voegele in the last eight, where she will be joined by fellow Britons Elena Baltacha and Naomi Cavaday.
Baltacha beat South African Chanelle Scheepers 7-6 (8/6) 4-6 6-3 to set up an all-British quarter-final with Cavaday, who beat compatriot Katie O’Brien, the fifth seed, 6-3 6-2.
Meanwhile, Jocelyn Rae and Jade Curtis bowed out.
Alex Bogdanovic made it through to the second round of the men’s draw with a 7-6 (8/6) 6-2 win over Tatsuma Ito, while Sebastien Grosjean beat Britain’s Dan Cox 6-1 6-3.
Brendan Evans beat Colin Fleming 7-6 (7/5) 7-5 in a keenly contested all-British clash.
