So, another week, another title for the man from Mallorca, Rafa Nadal.

This time Germanys Nicolas Kiefer was his victim in the final, rolling over 6-3, 6-2 in Sundays showpiece.

As ever, the Tennishead snapper was courtside to catch all the action. You can read about what he thought of the days play in his Rogers Cup blog.

While the man behind the lens packs his gear away and moves onto this weeks WTA tier 1 event in Montreal, were left to reflect on when (not if) Rafa will leapfrog Rog at the summit of the mens singles world rankings.

It could happen this week, but Federer would need to have another shocker and Rafa another stormer surely his recent exploits will catch up with him soon?

Prior to the singles final, Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic captured the Toronto doubles title when they beat the Bryan brothers in a deciding champions’ tie-break.
