Roger Federer tournament schedule 2020

Swiss player Roger Federer managed to secure himself the Basel title for the fifth consecutive year in 2019. Rumours are that 2020 may be his last year as a professional tennis player!

Roger Feder claimed another four titles in the 2019 season to his already large collection of 103 since his first title in 2001 in Milan. The player secured his first title of 2019 in Dubai after defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-4, 6-4.

Federer has won a record eight Wimbledon titles in his 21 year career and was close to adding another in 2019. He advanced to the final for the 12th time at the tournament and faced Novak Djokovic. After a gruelling nearly 5 hour match the Swiss was defeated by Djokovic.

The Swiss star began and ended his 2019 season at No.3 on the ATP Tour rankings. However, he didn’t stay in this position throughout the year as he dropped to No.7 in February before climbing his way back up the rankings. Will Federer be able to claim himself the Basel title for the sixth year in a row in 2020?
