Rezai cruised to win 6-4 6-2 against the Ukrainian in one hour 23 minutes.

In the day’s other semi-final, Lucie Hradecka of Czech Republic had an even easier route to the final as her Japanese opponent Ayumi Morita retired hurt in the second set. Hradecka had already taken the first set 6-0 and was 1-0 up in the second when Morita pulled out with a thigh strain.
