Murray, who will make history as the first British player to be the top seed at Queen’s Club following the withdrawal of defending champion Rafael Nadal, receives a first-round bye.

In the bottom half of the draw, four-time winners Andy Roddick and Lleyton Hewitt could meet in the third round.

Roddick, the second seed this year, will face either Leonardo Mayer of Argentina or Belgian Kristof Vliegen in his opening match, while Hewitt, the number 15 seed, will take on Eduardo Schwank in the first round.

Britain’s James Ward will meet fellow wild card Marcos Baghdatis in the first round. Josh Goodall, who also received a wild card, will begin his campaign against Gilles Muller and could face Murray in the third round.
