The weeks prior to the Australian Open in January involve some great tournaments in Australia as warm ups to the first Grand Slam of the year and they don’t come much bigger than the ATP & WTA’s co-sanctioned Sydney International from the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre

 

Many of the ATP‘s & WTA’s greatest players have prepared for the Australian Open by playing at the Sydney International and the tournament has a reputation for delivering first class entertainment both on and off the court.

Juan Martin Del Potro, Bernard Tomic, Gilles Simon and Marcos Baghdatis have all triumphed in the Men’s Singles in recent years. Angelique Kerber, Johanna Konta, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Petra Kvitova and Agnieszka Radwanska have all held aloft the Ladies Singles trophy at the Sydney International in recent years.

The ATP & WTA Sydney International is competed for at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre in Sydney, Australia
