The opening of the 2019 ATP Tour season begins as usual with the Qatar Exxon Mobil Open from Doha in the Middle East and this year sees newly crowned World No.1 Novak Djokovic competing
Many of the ATP’s greatest players have opened their seasons at the Qatar Exxon Mobil Open. Roger Federer, Andy Murray & Rafael Nadal have won multiple titles at this event, with Nadal’s haul including the 2014 singles title and four doubles crowns (2005, ’09, ’11 and ’15). Djokovic won back-to-back titles in 2016 and ’17. This year Djokovic returns to try and add a third title to his name but Dominic Thiem and Karen Khachanov will both be hoping to stop him!
