Peer to face Brianti in final

Peer, who was leading 6-4 1-0, will contest her first final since 2007 when she takes on eighth seed Alberta Brianti, who defeated Ayumi Morita of Japan 6-3 7-5.

It will be Brianti’s first appearance in a final on the WTA Tour, with her best previous performance being a semi-final loss to Dinara Safina in Slovenia earlier this year.
