Novak Djokovic “is the greatest of all time” according to Alexander Zverev


Novak Djokovic should be crowned as the GOAT putting him ahead of Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal according to ATP finals champion Alexander Zverev

Zverev was speaking in his post-match interview after overcoming the Serbian Djokovic in their three set semi final at the ATP Tour Finals in Turin.

Zverev said, “In my opinion, where he came from, what he’s achieved, he’s the greatest of all time I think. People forget that sometimes, and I think that for once people should appreciate that”

Zverev went on to win the tournament beating Russian world no.2 Daniil Medvedev in the final but feels “there is nobody who should be appreciated more” than Djokovic.

Zverev will now head to the Australian Open in January as one of the favourites especially if Djokovic decides not to get vaccinated against the Coronavirus which would preclude him from competing based on the latest rules announced by the tournament organisers.
