Murray and Jelena Jankovic teamed up to land their doubles crown in 2007, and the Scot could be set for a repeat with Huber, a South Africa-born American.

They defeated the sixth seeds Mike Bryan and Bethanie Mattek-Sands 7-6 4-6 6-3 on Court Three.

By knocking out the all-American pairing, unseeded Huber and Murray set up a clash with Lukas Dlouhy and Iveta Benesova from the Czech Republic, the 15th seeds.
