The world No.6  has confirmed he will compete at the BNP Paribas Tennis Classic in west London between June 17-20 after attempting to defend his Aegon Championships title at The Queen's Club.

Murray, who missed the 2013 French Open with a back injury, returned to action at Queen's last year before defeating Kei Nishikori in straight sets in an exhibition match at the Hurlingham Club, his last competitive match before he went on to become the first British man to win a Wimbledon singles title in 77 years.

"Playing at the Hurlingham Club last June was the perfect way for me to warm up for Wimbledon,” Murray said. “It's a great setting and I’m looking forward to playing again this year.”

Former Wimbledon champions Goran Ivanisevic and Pat Cash have also confirmed their attendance at the event, as well as Tim Henman, Mark Philippoussis and the ever-popular Mansour Bahrami.
