Both players recovered from losing the first set of their semi-finals to secure a place in Sunday’s showpiece.

Second seed Medina Garrigues overcame Germany’s Anna-Lena Groenefeld 2-6 6-3 6-1, while Date Krumm inflicted a 3-6 6-2 6-4 defeat on Russian Maria Kirilenko.
