McEnroe expects repeat show from Murray

Britain’s world number two has been handed a tough draw to set up a rematch of his first grand slam final appearance 12 months ago against Roger Federer. The Scot starts with a first-round match-up against Ernests Gulbis of Latvia.

“I think he’s got a great chance,” said four-time US Open champion McEnroe. “The expectations are higher now that he’s two in the world but I would be surprised if he didn’t do really well.”
