The event will be the 15-year-old’s final warm-up ahead of Wimbledon after she received a wild card into the main draw of the women’s singles on Monday.

She said: “I know that (world number nine) Caroline Wozniacki has played the event in previous years and I have heard from others that it’s a great place to practise before Wimbledon and a great event to get involved in.”
