Tennishead blogger Anne Keothavong has been drawn to play her doubles partner Maria Elena Camerin in the first round of the Regions Morgan Keegans Championships in Memphis this week.

The British No.1 is the fourth seed at the $220,000 Sony Ericcson WTA Tour indoor hard court event in Tennessee.

The Middlesex right-hander is in the top half of the 32-player draw, seeded to meet world No.12 Caroline Wozniacki in the semi-finals.

Should Keothavong get past Camerin, currently the world No.119, she will book a second round date with either young Portuguese Michelle Larcher de Brito or Swede Sofia Arvidsson.

Keothavong is seeded to meet Kiwi Marina Erakovic in the last eight.

In the doubles draw Keothavong and Camerin will face Hungarys Melinda Czink and Stephanie Dubois from France in round one.

Fellow Brits Mel South and Sarah Borwell are also in Memphis this week.

South plays third-seeded Czech Lucie Safarova in the singles while Borwell and American partner Courtney Nagle take on the second seeds in the doubles Wozniacki and Bulgarian Victoria Azarenka.
