Berrettini will begin the season outside of the top 50 after suffering a number of injury issues throughout the past few years.
The Italian did not win a tournament last year despite showing a resurgence in 2024 with three victories in 250 tournaments.

It should be no surprise that Sinner has enlisted the help of his compatriot, however.
The two Italians have remained firm friends throughout their career, and Sinner even promised to play the Davis Cup for his compatriot.
Sinner won the Davis Cup with Italy in 2023, while Berrettini was injured, so he returned to play the 2024 event.
The pair helped Italy win the tournament for a second successive year, before Sinner decided not to play the 2025 event.
