Jannik Sinner has hit the ground running during his off-season as he looks to build on another strong season in 2025.

Sinner has trained with Matteo Berrettini, as well as Luciano Darderi and Simona Halep, as he prepares for 2026 in Dubai.

The Italian might have ended the season as the world number two, behind Carlos Alcaraz, but he finished it by winning the Vienna Open, the Paris Masters, and the ATP Finals back-to-back.

Ahead of the new season, Sinner has enlisted the help of another top ATP Tour star for his off-season in Dubai.

Muller broke new ground in 2025 by winning his maiden ATP Tour title at the Hong Kong Open at the beginning of the season.

He defeated Kei Nishikori in three sets to win his first ATP trophy at the second time of asking, following his defeat at the Grand Prix Hassan II in 2023.

The Frenchman followed it up by reaching the final of the Rio Open a month later, but he lost to Sebastian Baez.

Jannik Sinner seems to be making a step up for 2026

Sinner ended the season extremely strong, but it doesn’t appear that the world number two is resting on his laurels.

The star’s extensive training programme will surely make him match fit for the Australian Open, but those are not the only preparations the Sinner is putting in.

What is your bold prediction for the 2026 tennis season?

The Italian will also play Alcaraz in an exhibition event in South Korea, before playing Alex de Minaur at an Australian Open kickoff exhibition in Melbourne.

After Alcaraz’s split from Juan Carlos Ferrero, Sinner could be about to make up huge ground against his rival ahead of the first Grand Slam of 2026.
