Things have been looking up for Iga Swiatek this summer.
The Pole needed a reset after she went through an entire year without winning a title and suffering her first loss at the French Open since 2021.
The grass court season followed and she played with a level of freedom and aggression not previously seen from Swiatek, who captured her first Wimbledon championship.
A month later, Iga Swiatek won her first Cincinnati Open title, and a day later she flew to New York to compete in the US Open mixed doubles tournament.

Iga Swiatek is ‘feeling good’ playing mixed doubles at the US Open a day after the Cincinnati Open final
Much like the ATP’s Cincinnati Open winner Carlos Alcaraz, Swiatek has had a busy past two days.
Swiatek defeated Jasmine Paolini 7-5, 6-4 to lift her 11th WTA 1000 title on Monday night, and there was little time to celebrate.
Swiatek jumped on a plane with Alcaraz to fly from Ohio to New York, and on Tuesday, she was playing mixed doubles with Casper Ruud at the US Open.
The pair have been the most convincing team so far, as they defeated Madison Keys and Frances Tiafoe 4-1, 4-2, before seeing off Lorenzo Musetti and Caty McNally by the same scoreline.
Despite the lack of rest of recent days, Swiatek is feeling good and she is ready for the semi-finals of the mixed doubles at Flushing Meadows.
“I don’t mind; there’s no problem. I feel good, this part of the season has given me a lot of confidence,” the WTA’s world number two said.
“So I’m trying to use it every time I step onto the court. I find all this super fun, so I could keep playing more matches today.”

Who are Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud set to play in the US Open mixed doubles semi-finals?
Swiatek and Ruud have made a solid team at the US Open so far, dropping just six games during their first two matches.
But they will face a tough test in the semi-finals when they take on the top-seeded team of Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula.
The Brit’s excellent serving and aggressive net play, coupled with Pegula’s doubles experience and consistency from the baseline helped them defeat Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu in the opening round.
In the quarter-finals Draper and Pegula dispatched Daniil Medvedev and Mirra Andreeva 4-1, 4-1 to reach the last four.
They have shown exactly why they are the top seeds but Swiatek and Ruud will fancy their chances of securing victory.
