‘I am playing well and feeling good’ – Novak Djokovic wins Belgrade 2 title
Novak Djokovic said he “is playing well and feeling good” after beating Alex Molcan in straight sets to win the Belgrade 2 event.
The Serbian won 6-4 6-3 against the world No. 255 in the final of the ATP 250 tournament to win his 83rd singles career title.
Djokovic lost his serve three times in the opening set before finding his game to defeat the Slovakian qualifier in 88 minutes at the Novak Tennis Centre.
“It’s been a while since I last played here in front of a crowd. We played here one month ago [at the Serbia Open], without a crowd. To hold a trophy here after 10 years is really special and it couldn’t be better ahead of Roland Garros.” said Djokovic
