Hutchins and native Kerr fell to seventh-seeds Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski 6-4 2-6 7-6 (7-4) on court 14.

The 24-year-old Londoner and Adelaide veteran Kerr put up a fight, blitzing their opponents in the second before the Poles’ class ultimately told.
