Hutchins suffers doubles defeat

The pair had fought back after losing the first set to Austrian duo Julian Knowle and Jurgen Melzer before losing a thrilling final set 10-8.

It was Hutchins’ first final of 2009, and his first with new playing partner Kerr, as they narrowly fell short 6-2 5-7 10-8 against the world’s 12th-ranked pairing.
