The Londoner, partnered by Australian Rennae Stubbs, lost 6-2 6-2 to third seeds Lisa Raymond and Marcin Matkowski on Court 11.

Hutchins lost in the men’s doubles on Wednesday night, 6-4 6-2 to Fernando Gonzalez and Jose Acasuso, when partnered by Stephen Huss.
