HEAD release special edition bag

HEAD’s top players, including world No.1 Novak Djokovic, Tomas Berdych, Marin Cilic, Maria Sharapova and Sloane Stephens, will showcase the HEAD (PRODUCT)RED bags at this year’s French Open, which gets underway on Sunday.

The partnership between HEAD and AIDS charity (RED) aims to raise awareness and money in the battle for an AIDS free generation.

“It’s a great honour for me to be involved with this kind of charity,” world No.12 Cilic told tennishead. “To know that we can help in a little way for people to become healthier and in the fight against AIDS is a great thing and it’s big pleasure to be part of it.”

The bags will be sold around the world with 40 percent of the profits going to the Global Fund to fight AIDS.

“We are extremely proud to join a family of leading global brands supporting (RED)”, said HEAD CEO Johan Eliasch. “I would like to thank our players for their support and invite tennis fans and players around the world to join HEAD and (RED) in this worthy and important cause.”
