Jannik Sinner has been near-dominant at Grand Slams in the past two seasons, winning four out of the possible eight.
Sinner shared the last eight Grand Slams with Carlos Alcaraz, but there have been several players who have ousted the Italian from major tournaments throughout his career.
The likes of Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic have knocked Sinner out of a Grand Slam before his dominance from 2024 onward.
The world number two has, however, been knocked out of a Grand Slam on two occasions by an unsuspected star.

Márton Fucsovics has proved that he has got Sinner’s number as Grand Slams despite never reaching the top 30 of the ATP Tour.
The Hungarian knocked Sinner out of the Australian Open round of 64 in straight sets during their first meeting in tennis.

He followed it up a year later by knocking Sinner out of Wimbledon in 2021, although this time he needed five sets.
Sinner did manage to get some semblance of revenge by beating Fucsovics in the 2023 Australian Open round of 32 after another gruelling five sets.
Fucsovics is in elite company by knocking Sinner out of a Grand Slam multiple times, joining the likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.

Fucsovics has beaten Sinner as many times as he has lost, but the Hungarian has always been full of praise for the Italian.
Speaking at the 2024 Roland Garros, the Hungarian explained: “Sinner is the best player in the world today.
“We often train together because our games complement each other so well, otherwise he wouldn’t be playing with me. It gives me confidence to be able to exchange with him, and he gets on well with me.”
Sinner’s other victory over Fucsovics came at the Sofia Open in 2020, when he raced to a straight sets win over the star.
