Tennis is becoming younger with every year, but one forgotten star still holds the record for the youngest ATP Tour top 10 player ever.
While the likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Joao Fonseca light up the court as teenagers, a star still holds the record for the youngest top 10 player dating back to 1984.
Alcaraz became the youngest player since Rafael Nadal to enter the top 10 in 2022, but Aaron Krickstein was over a year younger than both men when he achieved it.
Despite achieving the feat over four decades ago, he still holds onto the record despite the emergence of Nadal and Alcaraz at such a young age.

Alcaraz became the youngest player since Nadal to crack the ATP Tour top 10 in 2022 when he was just about to turn eighteen.
However, forgotten tennis star Krickstein was over a year younger than Alcaraz and Nadal when he achieved the feat.
Krickstein is the youngest ever ATP Tour top 10 player in history, entering the rankings at just 17 years old and 11 days.
The American was known as the ‘Marathon Man’ for his epic five-set battle with Jimmy Connors at the 1991 US Open, which he lost.
The American star won nine ranking titles, but never to ever reach a Grand Slam final, with his best efforts coming in the semi-final of the US Open in 1989 and the Australian Open in 1995.
Aaron Krickstein was also the youngest ATP title winner in history for 15 years
Krickstein was clearly an early bloomer as he also held the record for being the youngest ATP title winner in history in 1983.
He held that record for 15 years until Lleyton Hewitt won the Adelaide Open in 1998 aged 16 years, 10 months, 18 days.
Now only 58 years old, Krickstein still performs on the veterans tour in the Outback Champions Series Over-30 tour.
Krickstein retired in 1996 after a career that saw him defeat the likes of Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, and Boris Becker.
