French Open Social Slice: Berrettini reacts to Federer withdrawal; the Italian question
On today’s Social Slice, we look at Berrettini’s reaction to Federer’s French Open withdrawal and an interesting question regarding Lorenzo Musetti and Jannik Sinner.
Firstly, World No 9 Matteo Berrettini took to social media to wish 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer well after he announced his withdrawal from Roland Garros.
The Italian admitted he was ‘looking forward’ to their clash and that it’s never nice to progress by default.

Alexander Zverev produced a statement victory against Kei Nishikori’s on Sunday night to reach the last eight.
“I feel like if I play my best tennis I’m difficult to beat,” said the German.
