Flavio Cobolli has outlined his biggest goal for the remainder of 2025 – and it has nothing to do with his ranking.

The Italian has soared up the rankings in 2025, which resulted in Flavio Cobolli getting picked for the Laver Cup.

Cobolli excelled at Wimbledon this year by reaching the quarter-finals and playing Novak Djokovic on Centre Court.

After a landmark ATP Tour in 2025, Cobolli has revealed the one remaining thing he’d love to achieve before the season concludes.

Cobolli is determined to finish the season on a high after his breakout year in 2025, which has seen him win his first two career titles.

Speaking to Tennis.com, Cobolli outlined his remaining goals for the rest of 2025 after asserting himself on the ATP Tour this year.

“It was a great year with two titles, but the year (hasn’t) ended. I know how to prepare my mood on the court to be more positive and more focused,” said the Italian

“I have Vienna, Paris, and maybe Metz after this tournament,” added Cobolli, before turning his attention to his real goal for the rest of the year.

“I’m trying to be one of the five at the Davis Cup,” explained the World No. 22. “That’s been a good dream for me. I really want to have the chance.”

Italy have made it through to the final eight of the 2025 Davis Cup and will play Austria in the quarter-finals.

The nation won the tournament last year, with Jannik Sinner leading them to the title, but the World No. 2 has hinted he will not play in the event.

That will leave Lorenzo Musetti, Matteo Berrettini, Luciano Darderi, Lorenzo Sonego, and Cobolli to fight it out for a spot.

When are the Davis Cup finals?

Eight teams have already confirmed their place in the Davis Cup finals, with Italy, Austria, France, Belgium, Spain, Argentina, Czech Republic, and Germany competing at the tournament.

Taking place in Italy, after the nation lifted the trophy in 2024, the tournament will begin on November 18 and run until the 23rd.

The event is set to be a star-studded spectacle, despite rumours of Sinner’s absence, with the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Jiri Lehecka, Jakub Mensik, and Alexander Zverev set to play.

Italy are looking to defend their title for the third consecutive year, while France, Belgium, Spain, and Czech Republic are also multi-time champions.

Germany have not won the tournament since 1989, as West Germany, while Argentina are looking to lift the trophy for a second time.
