Gael Monfils will be hoping to get past the first round for the first time in four visits when he faces Paul-Henri Mathieu. Big names? The clay court series travels to Buenos Aires this week where local hero and defending champion David Nalbandian will take centre stage. The world No.9 will begin his campaign against former world No.6 Nicolas Lapentti. Nalbandian will have to watch out for clay court veteran and fourth seed Carlos Moya who is bidding for his third title at the Copa Telmex. There are three other seeded Spaniards taking to the clay this week in the form of Tommy Robredo (who won in Brazil over the weekend), Albert Montanes and Marcel Granollers.
