ATP Mallorca 2021 Tournament Preview: Featuring Djokovic, Medvedev and Thiem

The ATP Mallorca Championships will be held for the first time this year – with Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev and Dominic Thiem set to play. The inaugural 2020 edition was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic.

Two top five ATP players – Medvedev and Thiem – are set to feature after accepting singles wildcards, while world No. 1 Djokovic will play as a wildcard in doubles.

It is the first grass court ATP tournament hosted in Spain, and the first time a tour event has been held in Mallorca since 2002.

Here, Tennishead previews the new ATP 250 event.
