World number 24 Del Potro had never won an ATP singles title until last month in Stuttgart, but followed that triumph with another the following weekend in Kitzbuhel.And the third seed made a storming start to number three as the 19-year-old broke Roddick in the opening game, one of his three service breaks in a 34-minute first set that Del Potro finished with a forehand winner that kissed the line.
