Compress to impress

Originally published on: 06/02/13 00:00

Wilson can’t guarantee that we’ll all look like Feliciano Lopez if we don its new R2R compression range but the American brand does promise comfort and a free range of motion when playing in the new kit. The compression clothing – the first of its kind within the tennis industry – is tailored to meet the demands of tennis and it provides ventilation and mobility where a player needs it most. The range comes in black and white and includes long and short sleeve base layers, as well as seamless shorts that focus on supporting the quads, hamstrings and groin.

The R2R design, short for Response and Recovery System, is created specifically for high-level tennis performance. The Sculpted Multi-Channel Mesh controls the body’s temperature and the seamless technology ‘guarantees abrasion free fit and feel’.
